As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Washington, DC at the Capital One Arena on the USA Network, there was a segment involving Seth Rollins and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to further hype their upcoming title match at WrestleMania 35.
The promo segment ended with Rollins attacking and having Lesnar left selling his finisher, The Stomp, as the final build for the program.
There was an original plan that would have seen Lesnar laying out Rollins instead, according to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. It was apparently Vince McMahon’s call to have the roles reverse.
WrestleMania 35 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium. This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network. It’s the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history.
