According to a report from Fightful, the original plans for the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame called for Titus O’Neil to be this year’s Warrior Award recipient.

For those unaware of what the Warrior Award is, those who are given it have “exhibited unwavering strength and perseverance, and who live life with the courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of the Ultimate Warrior.” Past nominees have included Connor “The Crusher” Michalek, Joan Lunden, Eric LeGrand, Jarrius “JJ” Robertson, and Sue Aitchison.

Titus will co-host WrestleMania 37 alongside WWE Hall of Famer “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan. O’Neil has been heavily involved in charity work in the city of Tampa, Florida. He’s also worked with several nonprofit groups and has been responsible for getting student athletes into college and various after-school programs for children through his Joy of Giving event.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will air on April 6th at Peacock.
