Quetzalli Bulnes Blames WWE Release On “Bad” Communication

Poor communication is to blame for Quetzalli Bulnes’ release from WWE last month, according to the former WWE employee.

Bulnes spent years with WWE as part of the Spanish-language team, and is the former host of WWE Ahora.

At a Mexico City WWE live event in October, Bulnes encouraged friend and wrestling YouTuber Falbak to jump the barricade and invited him into the ring.

Byron Saxton, who had not been informed of the spot, called security on Falbak, which Bulnes waved off, and thinking on the fly, Saxton called for an intermission.

While speaking to Michael Torres from Lucha Libre Online, Bulnes called the situation an unfortunate misunderstanding. She said,

“Regarding the reason for my exit, I want to say it like this: It was a case of bad understanding and bad communication between myself and other parts of Mexico.

“They told me backstage to say Falbak’s name in the ring. A lot of it was out of my hands and it was a series of bad understandings and the alignments were not respected, and I understand that completely. These actions have these types of repercussions. Had I known what would have happened afterward, I would not have done it whatsoever due to the unfortunate situation.”
