In a report from The Wrap which notes that the television deal for All Elite Wrestling may be announced next Wednesday, there’s an interesting note about the potential United States home for the upcoming Double Or Nothing pay-per-view:
AEW’s next big event is May 25’s Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. Currently, that show is set to stream on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, and will be available as a pay-per-view purchase in the UK via ITV Box Office.
This is interesting as this would open the possibilities for other wrestling promotions to try holding major shows throughout mainstream social networks as well.
Perhaps this is an oversight and is simply referring to a pre-show, but if this is something they’re looking into as a means of evolution, it will open so many doors for so many promotions including WWE.
