According to a report from Fightful, WWE is planning on laying off more talent/employees and some big names are being considered. The company is currently planning to make more cuts and they could come as early as this week.
As many of you know by now, WWE made main roster cuts back in April. Some of the names that were fired included Samoa Joe, The IIconics, Kalisto, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Tucker, Bo Dallas, Wesley Blake, and others. As far as the NXT roster is concerned, the company fired Drake Wuertz, Alexander Wolfe, Jessamyn Duke, and others. Many people (said to be 60+) within the office staff in Stamford, CT were fired as well. Some of those released included top executives, including mangers and supervisors of their divisions.
As of this writing, there is said to be an ongoing list of those who are on the “waiting list” to be fired. With that being said, there is no word on who exactly those people will be.
