According to a report from Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Vince McMahon may have some big plans in store for Angel Garza in the coming months. According to his report, Garza has become one of McMahon’s “favorites” as of late. One source says McMahon has even referred to Garza as being “a young Eddie Guerrero.”
Angel Garza joined WWE last year and is only 27 years old. He debuted on the main roster in February of this year. Garza’s photo has also been added to the RAW banner on WWE.com after Becky Lynch was taken off it due to her pregnancy.
For what it’s worth, Garza said in a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling that the late WWE Hall of Famer had “zero influence” on his character or his wrestling career. He said, “I haven’t been influenced by Eddie, but if I’ve been influenced by someone, it has been by my uncle [Humberto Garza].”
