According to a report from POST Wrestling’s John Pollock, WWE SmackDown will be airing live on New Year’s Day. WWE currently has no plans to air their usual taped show. As previously reported, WWE will be taping the Christmas Day episode of SmackDown.
The taped Christmas Day show and the live New Year’s Day show will take place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
