You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On who he’d like to work with post-WrestleMania: “So I’ve been seeing Ricochet’s growth over the past years. And I had an opportunity to work with him outside of WWE. But I think whether it’s working with him, which would be really cool, or working against him. Santos Escobar right now and Legado del Fantasma, we’ve had recently this attachment where it feels like family. And there’s very few Hispanic Superstars in the company, but the ones that are there? We’re like this, we’re united. All the way to Garza and Carrillo.

“So overall I’m excited to even get the opportunity of working with the younger talent. And that in a way, it almost tests my levels to see if I’m still fit or up to the challenges. An that kind of puts a little pressure on me, and makes me feel that youth within me that still sneaks out every now and then.”

Rey Mysterio on Dominik convincing him not to retire: “Yeah, I mean at one point when I first came back, I was actually feuding with Samoa Joe. And I remember that’s when I really wanted to hang up the mask and retire. And as weird as it sounds, Dominik convinced me not to and told me to stay. You know, I just felt like I was falling behind with all this young talent opening up a path. But I stayed and I committed to putting in the work, and it’s been incredible ever since.”

On how seriously he was debating retiring at that time: “Yeah, I was really having doubts and I felt like, ‘Okay, maybe it is time to step back and let this new generation come in and do their thing.’ But I think shortly after, I went to get some stem cells, and I came back and I was ready to go.”
