During Sunday night’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event, Rhino made his return to Impact Wrestling. He appeared (under a mask) after Michael Elgin was defeated by Brian Cage during an Impact World Championship match. As Elgin was attacking Don Callis, Rhino came out and gored Elgin. He then left the ringside area without showing his face.
Rhino recently said that he had turned down a new offer from WWE and his contract was expiring on July 17th, which is still several days away. That is likely the reason for the mask but it could create issues with WWE.
.@MrGMSI_BCage retains the World Championship but CHAOS ERUPTS after the match!
