WWE announced today through a statement that the company is in the middle of releasing a number of Performance Center staffers.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported Road Dogg is one of those names. WWE issued the following statement:
“With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.”

Road Dogg previously was the head SmackDown writer before going to NXT as part of the creative team and coach.
