Wade Barrett is potentially the best commentator working today, according to WWE Hall of Famer ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James.
The former Nexus leader returned to WWE in 2020 as a commentator for NXT and was moved to SmackDown’s commentary table in 2022.
During a recent edition of his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, Road Dogg had nothing but praise for the five-time former WWE Intercontinental Champion. He said,
“I would argue also that Wade Barrett might be the best commentary guy in the industry. One because I love his voice, and two, he’s really stinking good at it and only getting better.”
In August 2023, Barrett, who has also provided commentary for the NWA, was made the color commentator of Monday Night RAW.
