WWE/Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Bully Ray hopes to see Nick Aldis face Adam Pearce in a battle of WWE’s General Managers.
Earlier this month, Pearce was appointed the GM of RAW while the debuting Aldis was introduced as the new GM of SmackDown.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Ray addressed the possibility of the two battling GMs facing off in the ring. He said,
“I think the only thing I tweeted about on Monday night was the dynamic and the tension between Nick and Adam Peace. Knowing that they both have pasts in the ring and they probably can still lace them up tight, both former NWA World Heavyweight Champions.
“Hey, there’s no reason why we couldn’t see Nick and Adam heading up a Survivor Series team apiece or going at it one-on-one. So, I’m intrigued with the rivalry that Nick and Adam are bringing to the respective brands.”
Aldis held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship twice for a collective 1,309 days while five-time champion Pearce held the title for 1,078 days.
