All Elite Wrestling will be heading to Louisville, KY in November.
Fightful Select is reporting that the company will be debuting in the city on November 1st with an episode of AEW Dynamite. The event is expected to take place at the KFC Yum Center, which is the same venue WWE runs in the city.
While Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega put on a clinic of a match at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event, there was a very dangerous spot featuring a Tiger Driver ’97. This resulted in Omega landing directly on his head.
Speaking on his “1 Of A Kind” podcast, Rob Van Dam commented on the spot by saying that he didn’t want to assume anything because he doesn’t know the full story. He said,
“I’m not gonna shame anybody for it because I don’t know… I’m not gonna assume anything. I know that because I was so flexible, and because I always wanted to put everything into all of my bumps, and because my style was so action-oriented, I used to always tell people, like if they give me a back suplex, to go ahead and throw me on the back of my neck.”
