While Rob Van Dam has made two appearances on AEW Dynamite in recent weeks, he has seemingly indicated that he asked WWE for permission to appear for their rival promotion.
RVD, who unsuccessfully challenged Jack Perry for the FTW Championship on the August 9th episode of AEW Dynamite, took to Twitter to respond to some criticism that he “did WWE wrong” by appearing in AEW. He wrote,
“Some fans are saying I did WWE wrong by appearing on AEW. I wonder if they would all eat sh*t f I revealed that I had permission to do it? Or would they just move on to puke out the next meaningless bulls**t that comes out of their mouths?
Yeah, I figured. I’ll keep it to my self for now.”
