As we previously reported here on eWn, Dalton Castle was injured during his match with Roderick Strong last month on AEW Collision.
The match had to be edited due to the injury. Castle had been legitimately knocked out in the bout after being caught with Strong’s jumping knee strike.
AEW President Tony Khan later confirmed that Castle would be out of action for the rest of 2024.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Castle sustained a torn bicep during his match with Strong.
The match was particularly bad for Castle as Strong’s knee legitimately knocked him out. As a result, the referee had to restart the count when Castle initially failed to kick out.
