Roman Reigns underwent trial in the “Tribal Court” on Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, and he and Solo Sikoa destroyed The Usos during the opening segment.
The Usos called Reigns out to the ring to stand trial. Sikoa came out with Paul Heyman following which Reigns hit the ring.
Reigns acknowledged that he was pinned by Jey Uso at WWE Money in the Bank 2023, but declared that he’s still the Tribal Chief.
The Usos showed footage of Reigns manipulating The Bloodline and the Tribal Chief justified his actions by saying that was who he had to be for his cousins.
The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion stated that he had turned into that individual to lift The Bloodline and that he didn’t need the money and power anymore.
Thereafter, Reigns then put a lei on Jey and kneeled. Then out of nowhere, the Tribal Chief delivered a low blow to Jey. Jimmy tried to make the save but Sikoa nailed him with the Samoan Spike. Reigns and Sikoa tied Jey up in the ropes and decimated Jimmy, and afterward buried Jey with several chair shots. Sikoa splashed Jimmy through a table and the latter was then stretched out of the arena.
Later in the show, Heyman informed Reigns that Jey had returned to seek revenge on him, which prompted the Tribal Chief to grace the ring with Sikoa and The Wiseman.
Reigns once again asked the crowd to acknowledge him, and without wasting any time, Jey came out through the crowd and attacked Sikoa.
Jey grabbed a chair and walloped Reigns in the ring, causing him to flee. Jey continued to assault Sikoa with the steel object before issuing a challenge to Reigns.
Reigns has yet to respond to Jey’s challenge, but it’s worth noting that Jey Uso vs. Roman Reigns is planned for SummerSlam 2023.
