Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns made his return to television on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, his first TV appearance since the week after SummerSlam 2023 on SmackDown.
He hasn’t wrestled since he retained the title over Jey Uso at SummerSlam.
WWE holds a live event at the T-Mobile Arena tonight in Kansas City, where Reigns will wrestle Sami Zayn, a rematch from this year’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight is also advertised for tonight’s live event.
