WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is still cringing from a botched spot with Ruby Riott in 2019.
That year, the pair had a brief feud over Rousey’s RAW Women’s Championship, culminating in a title match at WWE Elimination Chamber that Rousey would win.
During her latest YouTube gaming stream, Rousey recalled a botched moment from the feud in which she missed slapping Riott. She said,
“The only botch I ever cringe at is when I missed slapping Ruby Riott, and WWE made reaction videos of everyone reacting, like, ‘Oh my god, Ronda messed something up. Let’s all react and laugh and make a big deal out of it.’ Like, Jesus. You guys looking a little bored? Need something to talk about? Gotta sh*t all over my tan suit?”
Riott was released from WWE in June of last year and debuted for AEW at All Out 2021 that September.
Rousey returned to WWE TV at this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event and is in her second reign as SmackDown Women’s Champion.
