Roxanne Perez had some strong words for the rest of the NXT Women’s division following her success on this week’s episode of the gold brand.
During the January 17, episode of WWE NXT, Perez earned a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship by winning a four-way consisting of the final four women in a battle royal.
In a “WWE NXT Exclusive,” Perez reflected on her win. She said,
“What does it mean to me? I just stood in the ring with 19 other women and prevailed. It was me against the world tonight. But did I doubt myself? No. But I’m pretty sure every single person out there did, just like they have been for the past year. When I said that I’m the best damn woman in this locker room, I wasn’t lying. I’ll say it once, I’ll say it twice. I’ll say it a third time. I’m The Prodigy, and you can’t break me.”
Perez will challenge NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria at NXT Vengeance Day next month. Perez held the title from December 2022 to April 2023.
