Rusev will be returning to in-ring action soon as he has been cleared by WWE doctors. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Rusev met with doctors on Tuesday and he was given the great light to return.
Rusev has been out of action since March after undergoing shoulder surgery. It was never quite clear how the injury occurred or what the issue was.
Rusev was last seen on WWE television a few months ago when he released a video stating that he’d only wrestle on SmackDown Live if he received a title match at Money in the Bank. However, SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon never gave him an answer and Rusev has not been seen on the show since then.
