Hollywood stalwart Russell Crowe made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 39, performing a custom introduction for the Edge vs. ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor match.
Not only did the Academy Award-winner film the clip, but he also took the time to watch the match.
Praising the bout, Crowe tweeted:
“Shout out for the efforts of @EdgeRatedR and @FinnBalor inside the Hell in a Cell at #Wrestlemania. All the heart and drama of great pro wrestling. Well done to both and to @WWE.”
Edge responded with the following,

The match saw Edge add yet another major victory to his name as he beat ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor on Night Two of WrestleMania 39.
