AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF vs. Sammy Guevara vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry vs. Darby Allin in a Fatal 4-Way Match is expected to headline tonight’s Double or Nothing 2023 pay-per-view event.
Ahead of the match, Guevara shared a touching tribute on Twitter by writing the following:
“From making cardboard belts, to flipping burgers, to everything in between to get here. It’s a wild life and I struggle to find the right words to describe this feeling I have today. It sometimes doesn’t feel real, and sometimes I feel that I don’t deserve it.
“But I know this is real and I’ve worked all my life for this moment. Dreams come true and tonight I’m living my dream. Thank you all who have helped me get here and I also wanna say thank you to myself. A lot of days I wanted to give up & quit.
“A lot of days were hard but I believe the universe will never put anything in front of you that you can’t overcome. It took a lot to get here but I made it here. And tonight I hope to make little me proud. #LFG #AndNew.”
