Scorpio Sky says he is dealing with a minor injury following last night’s live episode of AEW Rampage from Ontario, California.
The AEW star successfully defended his TNT Championship against Top Flight’s Darius Martin in the show’s main event, but was noticeably hobbling during the bout’s opening minutes. He reveals in a new tweet that in those opening minutes he strained a muscle that rendered his right leg useless.
Sky wrote, “I went into last nights match with my knee bothering me and unfortunately in the opening minutes I strained a muscle that goes from my knee up through my groin. My right leg was useless from then on. Despite that, wrestling in SoCal felt amazing even on one leg. Hopefully nothing serious and I’ll be back to defend again soon.”

This story comes one day after AEW World Champion CM Punk announced that he had broken his foot and would be taking time off to have surgery. In his absence, an Interim World Champion will be crowned. We will keep you updated on Sky’s condition.
