AEW originally announced that Scorpio Sky would be wrestling Kip Sabian on Friday’s episode of Rampage. However, that didn’t happen.
Instead, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Sky was pulled from the bout due to an injury, leading to Komander replacing him.
According to a report from Fightful Select, the injury was said to have been a freak accident and nobody knows how long Sky will be out of action. It’s worth noting that he was spotted on crutches at the show.
