Seth Rollins has opened up about losing his signature stomp, and how he got the move back.

Rollins’ stomp has been part of his repertoire of moves for years, and it was with the Stomp that Seth became WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.

Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp, Rollins explained that it was after his title win that the move was banned. He said,

“I lost it the day after I won the title at WrestleMania. I had a conversation with Vince. He said, ‘No more.’ He said, ‘Nope, that’s the end of it.’ Years later, I finished the story with Triple H, which was the Pedigree. It was majorly involved in that, and it just felt like the time to get a new finish.”

Rollins added that it was after speaking with McMahon years later that he was able to convince the Executive Chairman that bringing the move back was the right call. He added,

“Time heals all wounds. Whatever had wounded him, he was over it. So, he said, ‘Alright, bring it back,’ and here we are.”

On this week’s episode of RAW, Rollins was attacked by Logan Paul and challenged the Architect to a match at WrestleMania 39.
