Seth Rollins made a very special return to WWE NXT last week, as he defended his World Heavyweight Championship against rising star Bron Breakker.
WWE NXT’s Twitter account recently released backstage footage of Rollins and Shawn Michaels’ (NXT’s Head of Creative) special moment after the match, where the two shared an embrace and exchanged some heartfelt words.
Rollins retweeted the video and wrote a heartfelt and insightful message, saying,
“Everybody you meet plays a part in who you are. Some more than others… Without Shawn, I never step foot in a wrestling ring. Probably never meet my wife. Never have my kid. Reflecting on this moment, I feel immense gratitude across the board. We’re nothing but lucky to be experiencing life.”
