SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon announced on Twitter that Baron Corbin has been fine and suspended for one week after he attacked Sami Zayn on Talking Smack. McMahon issued this statement:
“It is never acceptable for an athlete in any sport to put their hands on an official, @WWE is no exception. @BaronCorbinWWE actions on #TalkingSmack were irresponsible and unprofessional. He has been fined and suspended for one week effectively immediately. #SDLive.”
