WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels made his in-ring return to the company after nearly 10 years away. “The Heartbreak Kid” teamed up with Triple H to reform D-Generation X, and defeated The Brothers Of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker, at WWE Crown Jewel.
Many speculated about whether or not Michaels could wrestle again after the match, possibly leading to a dream match with a young star at WrestleMania 35 in New York. Speaking to WWE cameras after Crown Jewel, Michaels offered a subtle hint that he could be done in the ring after Saudi Arabia.
Here’s what Michaels had to say:
“You forget how tough this is on your body. I’ll be feeling it for the next several days. It’ll be a very good reminder of why I didn’t do it for 8 years and why I’m not gonna do it again if I could possibly help it.
“We are going back to our regular life. It was a lot of fun to do but I’m glad it’s over.”
