As we previously reported here on eWn, Shawn Spears appeared in a segment following Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite broadcast. He came out and interrupted Tony Khan, Cody and Dustin Rhodes. Khan and AEW referee Aubrey Edwards wound up giving him a “Stone Cold Stunner”. When a fan questioned him via Twitter about whether the segment was scripted, Spears said it was his idea. He said,
“It’s entertainment. It’s show business. And it was all my idea. I had a blast with my friends and the people of Texas. They enjoyed it. Mission accomplished.”
