AEW’s Skye Blue has made it clear that she’s ready for any role a male wrestler can handle, including violent matches and main events.
On a recent edition of the “ESPR” podcast, Blue was asked about the opportunities given to women in comparison to men. She said,
“I’m just grateful to be on TV and have the opportunities that I have. I would love to be able to, one day, go out there and go do what the crazy guys do. I want to be in ladder matches, I want to be in hardcore matches, I want to be in main events. I want to be in all the things, I just want all of us to get opportunities and do what we love.”
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Blue teamed with Julia Hart, Saraya, and Ruby Soho, in a loss to Anna Jay, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, & Thunder Rosa.
