WWE taped tonight’s edition of NXT on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from Winter Park, FL at the Full Sail University. Here are the spoilers for tonight’s show:
– Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano Face to Face Segment up. There has been a few minutes of dueling “Johnny Wrestling” And “Adam Cole.” Cole says he doesn’t need their support. Gargano says he loves the Johnny Wrestling Chants. Cole claims that Gargano has a poor win-loss record despite his cute little Johnny Takeover name. He’s really Johnny Participation. Cole talks about his road in NXT and how he has done everything to succeed. Gargano talks about his road about working hard despite WWE turning him down, getting a spot in the first Dusty Classic, busting his ass over and over until he was undeniable and got his spot. Cole says no matter Gargano thinks, he can’t beat him. Out come The Undisputed Era. Cole says Triple H may have said that the title match will be Definitive, but Cole says it will be Undisputed
– Tag Team match: Vanessa Borne & Aliyah vs Lacey Lane & Kacy Catanzaro doesn’t happen as Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn, & Marina beat down Kacy & Lacey.
– Singles Match: Matt Riddle defeats Kona Reeves. Post-match, Velveteen Dream says he will face Riddle at Takeover.
– Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals: Aleister Black & Ricochet defeat The Forgotten Sons. At NXT Takeover New York War Raiders will defend the NXT Tag Titles against Ricochet & Aleister Black. War Raiders our for a stare down with Ricochet & Black. Ricochet says this may be the last Full Sail Taping for himself & Aleister Black. Black says him and Ricochet are leaving a peace of their soul at Full Sail. Ricochet says this has been the best year of his entire career. Ricochet says they may be leaving NXT, but the NXT roster is so stacked up and down that others will take their place.
