WWE taped tonight’s edition of NXT on Thursday, August 24th, 2017, from Winter Park, FL at the Full Sail University. Here are the spoilers for tonight’s show:
— Sanity and other Superstar are shown laid out in the backlot of Full Sail University. We see Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly walking away. NXT General Manager William Regal is shown surveying the scene while being very upset.
— Drew McIntyre walks out to the ring and cuts a promo about how 17 years has led to this moment. He called out Cole, Fish, O’Reilly, and the whole locker room. He said that if they want a shot then come out and tell him to his face. This leads to Roderick Strong walking out and saying that he will beat Bobby Roode then fight McIntyre like a man.
— Singles Match: Peyton Royce defeated Ruby Riot when Royce distracts the referee, and Billie Kaly lays out Ruby with a kick outside the ring. Peyton pulls Ruby in and hits her Fisherman’s Suplex for the win.
— Tag Team Match: Heavy Machinery defeated two jobbers
— Singles Match: Roderick Strong defeated Bobby Roode. Post-match, Drew McIntyre appeared at the top of the ramp and was jumped by Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly. William Regal walked out, and the three heels left through the parking lot.
