Tessa Blanchard has claimed that she has grown a lot over the past three years after a series of controversies forced her out of the limelight.
Shortly before becoming the first female Impact Wrestling World Champion, Blanchard was faced with accusations of racism and bullying which would derail her career.
Speaking on a recent edition of the “Smooth Vega” podcast, Blanchard spoke about what’s changed since those accusations. She said,
“The that I look back at it thinking back now, because I’ve grown a lot from everything that I’ve been through over the past three years, because it’s been tough, is like mentally, it was challenging, but nothing is ever going to be thrown at me that I’m not strong enough to handle. God, this life, they’re gonna throw things at me that I’m strong enough to handle, there is gonna be a lot of trials and tribulations, but I’ve gotta navigate my way mentally, physically, emotionally to get through it, and grow from it, right?”
“Every person that you meet, every friendship, every relationship, ever circumstance, you should be able to take something and learn from it for whatever’s next in life.”
Earlier this year, Blanchard and La Rosa Negra, who was the first person to make accusations at Blanchard, seemingly made amends.
The pair appeared in a photo shared by Negra and NWA wrestler Bryan Idol added in his own tweet that the two had a great conversation in which mistakes were forgiven.
