The hearing regarding charges against Teddy Hart for ecstasy possession has been delayed until January.
As we reported last week here on eWn, Hart was set to have a hearing on December 14th on the charges of possession of MDMA (ecstasy) and possession of a controlled substance without prescription. That hearing was listed as a mandatory appearance on Hart’s behalf for “Early Resolution,” a division that identifies potential candidates for early plea deals.
In an update on this, Hart’s defense team requested a delay on Thursday for the hearing until January. The judge granted the delay but said this would be the last one. Hart was not present at the hearing.
Hart was arrested back on July 15th in Florida and charged with the aforementioned charges, both of which are third degree felonies.
In other news, Claudio Castagnoli picked up a win over Andrade El Idolo in the Continental Classic on AEW Collision, and he commented on the win after the show.
The Blackpool Combat Club member is set to face Bryan Danielson on next week’s Collision in the tournament, and he spoke in a post-match video about his win and what’s next.
Castagnoli said, “Just because I won today doesn’t mean I’m all happy and upbeat. Because I know what’s coming next week. If you can meet with triumph and disaster, and treat those two imposters just the same, that’s how you approach life. That’s how you approach love. That’s how you approach wrestling. He continued, “Bryan, we’ve met for decades now. They need somebody to replace you, who do they call? They call me. If you need somebody to have your back, who do you call? You call me. I’m there. I’m always there. I will be there next week. I’ll see you in the ring, my friend.”
