And NEW WWE NXT Tag-Team Champions – The New Day!
During Saturday night’s WWE NXT Deadline pay-per-view event, The New Day defeated Pretty Deadly to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. While Pretty Deadly attempted to use the belts in order to pick up the win, it was The New Day who came out on top.
The win marks The New Day’s first reign with the WWE NXT Tag Team titles. In an interesting tidbit, The New Day now join the likes of FTR (The Revival in WWE) and The Street Profits as those who have held the RAW, SmackDown and NXT titles in their careers.
Pretty Deadly’s second reign with the titles ends at 98 days.
