The Miz went face-to-face with LA Knight this week on Monday Night RAW.
The Miz cut a promo on Monday’s show complaining about the disrespect he was shown after being forced to wait for a photo shoot by LA Knight earlier during the day.
Knight hit the ring, happily introducing himself, thus eliciting a verbal back and forth where The Miz called him an “Attitude Era fanboy” and Knight concluded he had been making himself a “dangerous man” while WWE kept betting on the wrong horses, including The Hollywood A-Lister.
Knight noted that he didn’t mind making The Miz a stepping stone in his pursuit to be in the main event. The two nearly fought before The Miz began to act like he was leaving, then nailed Knight with a cheap shot and attempted a Skull Crushing Finale, only to be hit with Blunt Force Trauma.

The New Day made their in-ring return on Monday’s episode of RAW, with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeating The Viking Raiders in tag team action.
The New Day answered an open challenge from the Viking Raiders and scored the win.
This was the first match for Woods since May and Kingston’s first match since his injury in February.

And finally, Chad Gable became the new #1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, winning a shot at GUNTHER’s title on the latest edition of RAW.
Gable defeated Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, and Ricochet in a Fatal Four-Way to earn a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Title.
Following the match, Gable celebrated with his son at ringside.
WWE has yet to announce a date for the title match between GUNTHER and Gable.
