The Outrunners claim to have not signed with AEW despite the ongoing rumors.
The Outrunners have been appearing regularly on AEW and ROH TV, but the duo recently clarified on the “Wrestling With Rip Rogers” podcast that the rumor started by Mark Henry that they’ve signed deals with the company is incorrect.
Turbo Floyd said, “We heard the rumor. Mark Henry came on here and said we were signed two months after our debut there, which was a couple of years ago. I wish somebody informed me. No, we are not at the moment.”
He continued, “We saw [Henry] the next week in Texas, and he came up to us and said, ‘I’m sorry, I thought you guys were signed.’ He has been going to bat for us each and every time we’ve been there. We talk to him all the time. He’s a great guy. He goes to bat for us a lot.”
