Tom Lawlor has made it very clear how he feels about his match with Adam Cole at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II being nixed.
Prior to the show, it was confirmed that the match would not go ahead as planned due to Cole dealing with an illness.
Taking to Twitter, Lawlor summed up his feelings on not facing the former WWE NXT World Champion in two words.
Lawlor would later thank Serpentico for stepping in and facing him in a Forbidden Door II dark match.

Lawlor’s AEW debut saw him defeat Serpentico.
This is the second year that AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door has been bad luck for Adam Cole, who suffered a concussion at last year’s event that took him out of action for months.
