Could a reunion of DIY be in the works? Tommaso Ciampa certainly hopes so.
When Ciampa returned to WWE programming earlier this year as a face, many predicted that this face turn was done in order to facilitate a reunion with Johnny Gargano.
Speaking with Ryan Satin on the “Out of Character” podcast, Ciampa said another run with Gargano, who he’s teamed with in and out of WWE, “would be amazing.”
Ciampa added that all he has is time and ideas and wants DIY to face off against the reigning Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. He said,
“The one that jumps a lot is Sami and Kevin. We could have so much fun too with that smarter fanbase. There’s always that underlying, can Johnny trust me? And can Sami trust [Kevin Owens]? That would be such a dream match for us, let alone just fans.”
Ciampa also named The Usos, The New Day, and the Viking Raiders as teams he’d like to face if DIY reunites.
