Tommaso Ciampa Seems To Confirm Stand & Deliver Will Be His Last NXT Match

During this week’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Tommaso Ciampa seemed to confirm that his match against Tony D’Angelo will be his last on the brand.

Ciampa was sitting in front of a garage, where he would talk about the support of NXT and its fans. Ciampa would state how the fans were there for his highs and his lows, and how together they created “black and gold magic.”

The former two-time NXT Champion would say how he has heard all the whispers regarding his match at Stand & Deliver being the end of an era. Then standing up, he promised to create that magic one last time, before leaving his chair leaning against the wall behind him. The chair was painted with the dates 9/9/2015 and 4/2/2022, the dates of both his NXT debut as well as that of Stand & Deliver.

Ciampa’s match with Tony D’Angelo is set for this Saturday’s NXT: Stand & Deliver premium live event. Ciampa has already appeared on the RAW brand on multiple occasions in recent weeks, winning both matches he’s had on the brand.
