CJ Perry made her AEW debut at the All Out 2023 pay-per-view event this past Sunday, coming to the aid of her real-life husband Miro after he was attacked by Powerhouse Hobbs.
While Miro scored a victory over Hobbs, the former TNT Champion retaliated by unleashing a brutal attack.
Perry came to the ring and hit Hobbs with a chair. While the chairshot wasn’t effective, the distraction allowed Miro to recover and neutralize Hobbs.
Miro then told Perry “you aren’t real” before heading to the back alone.
During the post-show media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan discussed Perry’s current status in the company. He said,
“I think it’s great to have CJ here. It’s not a long-term guarantee or anything, but at least for tonight, it was great to have her appearing with us. I thought it was a great surprise.”
