AEW President Tony Khan has said that Kyle O’Reilly is “doing better” amid the wrestler’s ongoing hiatus from the ring.
In September 2022, O’Reilly, a former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion, underwent neck fusion surgery and has been off TV ever since.
During a recent appearance on the “In the Kliq” podcast, Khan provided an update on O’Reilly’s condition. He said,
“He’s been doing better. We look forward to him getting back. But it’s a number of injuries and a tough recovery. I really miss him, and hope he’ll be back with AEW very soon.”
At this time, there is no timeframe for when O’Reilly is expected back on AEW programming.
