The presale for AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door started today and the vast majority of tickets were made available for purchase. There were some held back for tomorrow’s general on-sale though.
The United Center is set up to hold 14,000 fans and AEW President Tony Khan has now taken to Twitter to note that they sold over 11,000 tickets today in under 40 minutes. He wrote the following:
“Thank you amazing wrestling fans who purchased tickets to @AEW x @njpwworld #ForbiddenDoor ppv! We sold over 11,000 tickets today, with a small allotment still held back for the general sale tomorrow! #AEWRampage is on TNT early tomorrow @ 5:30pm ET/4:30pm CT/3:30pm MT/2:30pm PT!”
The show takes place on June 26th from Chicago, IL.Â
