Tonight on SmackDown Live, Kevin Owens got his rematch against AJ Styles for the WWE United States Championship and was unsuccessful as he was caught in a roll-up but his shoulder was up. The official was temporarily blinded & made the three count anyway. Following the match, KO went backstage to confront commissioner Shane McMahon & GM Daniel Bryan about what had just taken place.
Shane McMahon granted Kevin Owens a rematch for the United States Title at SummerSlam against AJ Styles & to make sure that there is a sturdy referee in the mix, Shane McMahon will be the official for AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens at SummerSlam.
