Reportedly, WWE had made main-roster creative pitches to him earlier this month should he remain with the company. However, in a update from Fightful, currently there are no internal plans for Cole to join WWE’s main roster at this time. The following quote came from Fightful’s report:

“He had not signed a new contract as of this past weekend. We spoke with sources backstage at WWE Raw tonight, and confirmed he is not planned for tonight’s show in any capacity, either.”

As many of you are aware, Adam Cole was defeated by Kyle O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver 36. At this time, Cole is free and clear to sign elsewhere with no non-compete clause. It is widely believed that Adam Cole will be signing with All Elite Wrestling, however that has yet to be confirmed at this time.

As always, the staff here at eWn will provide updates as they become available.
