AEW taped Saturday night’s episode of Collision on Tuesday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC. Bryan Danielson, who had been out of action since October due to a broken orbital bone, worked a match while wearing an eye patch.
Danielson faced off against Andrade El Idolo in a Blue League match in the Continental Classic and ended up getting cut above his left eye, the same eye that was previously injured with a broken orbital bone. Following the bout, The Blackpool Combat Club checked on Danielson, causing some concern among fans that he may have sustained another injury.
According to a report from Fightful Select, this was all part of a storyline that will unfold on television, and Danielson is perfectly fine.
