WWE Hall of Famer Edge could indeed finish his in-ring career next year as the former World Champion alluded to this week.
After this week’s RAW in his native Toronto, Edge said he planned on finishing his career the next time WWE comes to Canada, which he believes will be in August next year.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Edge signed a three-year deal after coming out of retirement in 2020, so his deal will expire next year:
“He (Edge) signed a three-year deal when he came back, but of course if he wants to retire he can retire.”
Edge’s next match is expected to take place at WWE Clash at the Castle next month in Cardiff, Wales.
