A new report from PWInsider has offered some clarity on when we can expect to see NWA’s upcoming show NWA USA. The report notes that NWA USA will air weekly on YouTube. The first episode is set to air on January 8, 2022. Also, the NWA’s first pay-per-view of the year will be the Crockett Cup.
Other NWA news in the report it was noted that despite the company filming the first episodes of the new USA show at GPB Studios in Atlanta, the promotion has no plans currently to return to GPB Studios. This decision is due to the restrictions on fan attendance in the venue.
Finally, it was reported that the appearance of The OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) in NWA was planned before the announcement of ROH’s upcoming hiatus. The initial idea was to put the duo in a program with Nick Aldis and Doug Williams. This would have seen all four appearing in both ROH and NWA. However, due to the current iteration of ROH coming to a close this weekend after Final Battle, NWA President Billy Corgan made the call to bring The OGK back into the company.
