Word broke Sunday night that Rey Mysterio has been working for the WWE without a contract.
The latest update comes from Dave Meltzer on the latest WOR episode. It notes that Mysterio recently asked for a raise from WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.
However, McMahon told him that it was a bad time for his request due to the recent amount of releases. Mysterio has been working for WWE without a deal for months now.
It was added that both sides will continue to negotiate to come to terms on a deal that suits both parties going forward.
Mysterio is currently involved in a storyline with his son Dominick and Seth Rollins on WWE television.
