Is Cody Rhodes on the cusp of the fans turning on him in favor of the Beast Incarnate?
Since returning to WWE, Rhodes has been a clear fan favorite, in stark contrast to the hostile response he received during his AEW tenure.
On this week’s episode of RAW, Rhodes was attacked by Brock Lesnar and a match between the two is expected to be announced.
Speaking on the “Legion of RAW” podcast, Vince Russo said that the recently-heel-turned Lesnar may still have the support of the fans. He said,
“I think this is a little risky because you gotta remember bro, there are a lot of people out liking Brock. So now you’ve got Cody and the suit and the power and the money and talking above everybody. Well, now you just turned somebody on him that a lot of fans cheer for. I think that’s a bit of a gamble bro.”
